Took you long enough.

Every time Carol's main attack does not kill her main target, she has a {0}% chance to deal an immediate follow-up attack for {1}% of full damage.

In addition, whenever she inflicts a status effect, you have a {2}% chance to gain a charge point.

As a leader, all team members receive this bonus.

4 40% 60% 17%
5 50% 65% 20%

How GCarol's LT works[]

GCarol's LT has two functionalities. Firstly, it gives a chance of a second attack immediately after the first attack, and this chance gets rather large at higher levels, meaning if will very often trigger (this chance is boosted by Lucky). Secondly, she can get charged by causing status effects.

The second attack is carried out before any possible status effects happen. So if she is the team leader, and a warrior with the Morning Star hits a walker, it can be pushed two steps. In this case, the walker first takes the 2 hits, and only then gets pushed two steps.

There are some special considerations when using a charged attack. The LT is coded so that you can't for example, use a charge attack to first stun enemies to get guaranteed critical hits on the follow-up attack, nor get recharged right away.

The chance of getting a charge point might look low, but if GCarol hits multiple crippled walkers (or an assault doing that when she's the leader) has a decent chance of getting one or several charge points. Also, this chance is boosted by Lucky.

Note that GCarol must actually hit an enemy for the chance of a second shot to be rolled. So if she shoots a human opponent who dodges the shot, she will never shoot the second shot.

Also note that fire damage is taken for each hit. So a Warrior with the Morning Star hitting 4 burning walkers might take even 8 fire hits from one attack. Be sure to equip Hazard Suits on any melee survivor if you have GC in lead and there is a risk of walkers burning.

Bugs with Guardian Carol's LT[]

  • Guardian Carol's LT does not work together with Michonne's LT, and Michonne's possible extra move will be spent by the follow-up attack.

Recommended Traits & Badges[]

Guardian Carol, even though her LT is pretty good, has remained in a side role due to Sasha having a superior LT, and hunters overall not being good in the current meta. So in most game modes you would rarely use more than one hunter, and this would either be Sasha or the Star Hero. Guardian Carol is a regular Last Stand Expert mode hunter, but their damage quickly becomes too low, no matter of build.

All this means that many players have built GCarol to be the team leader or a team member in GW PvP attacking & defending teams, with traits and badges suited for battling human opponents.

  • Recommended traits: Critical Aim, Lucky, Bullet Dodge, Ruthless/Marksman.
  • Recommended badges: DR + Health Badges.
  • Recommended gear: Incendiary Starbound Rifle, Bulletproof & Primed & Stun Resistance armor.
