Do we have a deal?
Leader Trait — A/B Tester[]
The Main Target of Jadis' Charge Attack will be tagged as 'A'. An ‘A’ enemy won't move. If there are other walkers around an 'A', up to {0} of them will target and attack ‘A’, dealing {1}% of full damage each.
The target(s) of Jadis' normal attack has a 100% chance to be tagged as 'B'. When a survivor attacks B, Jadis and that survivor has {2}% chance to get a Charge Point.
A' and 'B' tags last for 1 turn.
As a leader, this Leader Trait is shared with all ranged teammates.
Level | Maximum number of Walkers attack 'A' | Walker Damage | Charge Point Chance at B |
---|---|---|---|
2 | 1 | 20% | 13% |
3 | 1 | 25% | 15% |
4 | 2 | 25% | 17% |
5 | 2 | 30% | 20% |
6 | 2 | 35% | 23% |
7 | 2 | 40% | 26% |
8 | 3 | 40% | 29% |
9 | 3 | 45% | 32% |
10 | 3 | 50% | 35% |
The chance of getting Charge Points from B tagged walkers is not affected by Lucky.
How to use Jadis - the new Sasha?[]
Jadis is a Hunter with an offensive Leader Trait, so should be rerolled and badged offensively. Recommended traits are Ruthless, Critical Aim, Marksman and Lucky. You can also consider keeping her default trait Sure Shot instead of Marksman or Lucky, if you usually equip her with a Piercing weapon like the Abbey Tromblon or a piercing Wrecker shotgun.
Jadis' Leader Trait - A[]
Jadis' Leader Trait consists of two parts. The first one works when a target is hit by a charge attack. It will in this case be marked with an "A", and if there are walkers immediately adjacent to the "A", two walkers will be designated to attack it (or only one if her LT level is really low). These will have a glowing circle around them (it can be really faint, see example picture below). This is basically a turned around Confusion, with the walker being hit designated the target of the confusion attack instead of being the attacker. Note, however, that unlike confusion, the walkers attacking the "A" target will do quite a bit less than their normal damage (with the amount depending on the level of the leader trait). As walkers generally do very little damage compared to their health, this damage will in many cases be negligible, and the main effect is really that up to 3 walkers will be busy with something else during their next turn.
- Note that the "A" target is basically rooted, and it will attack any survivors standing next to it (unlike a confused walker). You can, however, run past it without any risk of getting grabbed.
- Both the "A" target as well as the walkers designated to attack "A" will override any stunned condition
- Note that sometimes the stunned animation will be removed, sometimes not, but it is always able to attack any adjacent enemies.
- The circles walkers designated to attack the A walker will also wake up but will behave like a confused walker, i.e. it is safe to stand next to them.
- There is a bug which causes humans to overwatch attack the "A" target, as if it moved
- AI humans which are marked with A will also stay still.
- If the target "A" is killed due to the charge attack or later, the max two adjacent walkers will still be marked but will do nothing.
- Commonwealth Walkers will have resistance against being marked "A", but they are not resistant to being designated to attack "A".
Jadis' Leader Trait - B[]
The B part of her leader trait is completely standalone from the A part and works on her normal attack. In this case all walkers hit (and not killed), will be marked with "B". The only effect of "B" is that any subsequent attacks on a marked walker can give the survivors charge points. This chance is NOT influenced by lucky, and grows to 35% at LT lvl 10. The B only remains until the start of your next turn.
As a walker first needs to be marked, the trait works best when paired with Yumiko. You can then use one attack (preferably an assault) to mark a group on walkers, and then another attack to get charged. It's also possible to get charge points on overwatch. While this means that at least one attack has to be spent before charge points can be gained (unlike Sasha, where all bodyshots can give charge points), both the one making the attack AND all other team members can get charged off the same attack (or the team member making the attack and Jadis, if she's not the leader). This means that in good scenarios your whole team can get charged on two shots.
- Note that both A and B work only on ranged teammates. Jadis gives no benefits to melee survivors.
- The chance to get a charge point is checked before damage, so a walker marked B which is killed by the attack can award two charge points
- The "B" is not considered a status effect so Princess can't benefit of it and CW walkers should also get it
- A walker can be marked with both A and B.
- A walker marked with "B" will not itself be affected in any way and it will move and attack as normal.
Example:
- Jadis is the team leader, with LT lvl 8 (29%), together with Rosita and Daryl. She shoots at a single walker, which is damaged and gets the "B" mark.
- Rosita shoots at the same walker. All team members have a 29% chance to get one charge point.
- Rosita shoots at the same walker. All team members have a 29% chance to get one charge point.
