Resources are the most basic aspects of the game, and they are what make the game move. In this game, there are different resources, as well as your methods to get them. Let's explore some of them:
Gold[]
Gold is the most useful resource in the game. It is used to heal survivors, speed up upgrades, buy other resources, buy more survivor slots, and various other things. Gold can be obtained by the following methods:
- Completing achievements and daily rewards: when you complete a story chapter or have accomplished some achievement, the game rewards you with gold. Sometimes, in daily tasks, the game rewards you with gold if you complete a mission.
- Cinema: One of the rewards obtained in the cinema is precisely gold. By watching videos, you can get a good amount of gold.
- Opening boxes: The player has a chance to get gold by opening silver and gold boxes, both in missions and in mission rewards and in the store.
- Premium Battle Pass: One of the rewards when using the premium battle pass is gold.
- Killing walkers in your camp: There is a rare chance to get gold when clearing your camp of walkers.
- Claiming the daily gift in the Trade Goods Shop: Every Time the Trade Goods Shop refreshes, he will give you a gift. One of the possible gifts the Shop can give you is Gold.
Gas[]
Gas is used to start all missions in the game except Guild Wars and Last Stand. It can be obtained by the following methods:
- Time: If your gas number is below Max Storage (improved by Mission Car), you will gain 1 gas every 10 Minutes (in normal situations, as there are exceptions caused by events or purchases).
- Cinema: When watching a Cinema video, there is a possibility that one of your rewards is gas.
- Purchasing from the Trade Goods Store: The store will refresh with 8 gas (for 400 TG) every 7 hours, and 30 gas (for 1500 TG) once per day.
- Opening mission crates: both in silver and gold crates, there is a chance to get gas. The change and amount depends on the mission type and crate type.
- Buying with Gold: 1 gas usually costs 2 golds.
- Killing walkers in your camp: There are chances that you can gain gas by killing walkers on the wall of your camp (only during "The Herd" events).
- Survival Pass: The free Survival Pass path has several gas rewards.
- Guild Shop: As one of the first trades available in the Guild Shop, it is possible to exchange Reward Points in exchange for gasoline.
- Season Token Event. Game updates will often contain a Seasonal Event, where season tokens can be obtained from various tasks. The event will frequently have 50 gas as the first reward of the event.
- Black Market. The heroes in the black market shop will randomly offer gas for a period of time in exchange for gold or hero tokens.
- Bundle Shop. You can always buy a 24-hour gas booster for around $2.50.
- Update gift. Usually, when a new game update is launched, the bundle shop will offer a free 24-hour gas & XP booster.
- Guild Gifts. Guild members can buy a gift crate for their fellow guild members (normal cost 400 gold or 100 golds during guild gifting events). There is a 20% chance that these crates contain 6 gas.
- Daily Quests. The Daily Quests will often contain a quest giving a reward of 10 gas.
Radio[]
Radios are used to make calls that grant us new survivors, class tokens and hero tokens. It can be obtained by the following methods:
- Challenge: In both individual and guild rewards, you can get a good number of Radios.
- Opening crates: just like gas, there are chances of you getting radios when opening silver and gold boxes from missions (these chances are higher in the "Radio Active" event).
- Buying in the TG Shop: It is possible to buy 5 radios for 3,000 TG.
- Cinema: just like gas, you have chances to get a good number of radios when watching videos in the cinema.
- Buying with Gold: It is possible to buy 1 radio for 50 Gold.
- Killing Walkers in Camp: There is a tiny chance that you will get radios by killing walkers on your camp wall.
- Survival Pass: The Survival Pass rewards you with radios.
- Guild Shop: The Guild Shop can exchange Rewards Points for Radios.
- Last Stand: Last Stand Mode may give you some radios, but it's not guaranteed.
- Black Market: When you have a survivor with 10 stars (5 normal and 5 pink), if that survivor appears in your Black Market, you can use the excess tokens to exchange for radios.
- Radio Bundles for real money. There will usually be several real money bundles in the shop offering numerous radios.
- Daily Quests. The Daily Quests can have quests that offer radios as the reward.
For the best bang for the buck it is recommended to use radios on the 40/55 cost radio calls, if and when they have heroes you are wanting to invest in. The table below shows the return in hero tokens per phone spend, depending on call:
Trade Goods[]
Trade Goods (TG) are used to purchase items in the Trade Goods Shop and upgrade walkers in your Walker Pit. TG’s are also used to buy Survival Pass tokens from the Black Market. TG can be obtained by the following methods:
- Challenge: Challenge is the biggest source of Trade Goods in the game. Both in individual rewards and in guild rewards, the number of goods gained is immense.
- Outpost (building): The Outpost Building generates goods passively, with a cap depending on the level of your building.
- Outpost (mission): Completing Outpost missions earns you trade goods equivalent to what you anticipated before the start of the mission.
- Buying with Gold: It is always possible to buy the missing goods to carry out an exchange with gold.
- Last Stand: Last Stand mode may offer you some trade goods, but it is not guaranteed.
- Buying with Real Money: Many of the bundles in the in-game shop will offer Trade Goods in addition to other resources.
Supplies[]
Supplies are used to upgrade your camp buildings, craft badges and, in special events, can be used to trade at the Trade Goods Shop and Black Market. It can be acquired in the following ways:
- Farm Plot: Building the Farm Plot produces these supplies, and its production limit depends on the level of the Farm Plot.
- Opening Crates: It is possible to get supplies by opening silver and gold crates. This depends on the mission type, with Scavenge missions of the Supply type offering most supplies. When using the Governor as a mission leader, the number of supplies gained from opening crates at the end of the mission is increased.

Experience Points[]
Experience Points (XP) are used to upgrade your Survivors and Equipment. They can be obtained by the methods:
- Killing Walkers in your camp: Experience Points are the resources that appear the most when killing walkers in your camp.
- Killing Walkers and Enemies in Missions: You earn XP on every kill you cause in missions. The higher the enemy level, the more XP you earn. Note that there is a cap of 100 killed enemies per mission. Any walker killed above the 100th will award only 1 XP.
- Opening Crates: Experience Points are the main rewards for opening gold and silver crates. When using the Governor as a mission leader, the amount of XP gained from opening crates at the end of quests is increased.
- Mission Rewards: In many missions, you earn XP as a reward after missions, whether in story mode or in distance, challenge, or Scavenger missions.
- Recycling Equipment and Survivors: When you recycle your equipment and survivors (only those you spent XP on upgrading them), you gain XP, in addition to receiving 25% of the XP you spent upgrading it.
- Trading with Supplies: In the Trade Goods shop, you can trade supplies to get XP.
Reinforcement Tokens[]
Reinforcement Tokens are used to upgrade epic and legendary weapons and armors that are already at their maximum level. Reinforcement Tokens can be earned by achieving Challenge rewards, playing Distance and Last Stand missions, and purchasing them with Trade Goods from the Trade Goods Shop or Black Market for Gold.
Reroll Tokens[]
Reroll Tokens are used to change traits character traits or to reroll badges (slot, type, or bonus). You can earn Reroll Tokens by achieving rewards in the Challenge, playing Distance and Last Stand missions, and purchasing them with Trade Goods from the Trade Goods Shop or Black Market for Gold.
Class Tokens[]
Class Tokens are used to upgrade your normal survivors and trade their traits. They are separated into game classes (Hunter, Shooter, Assault, Warrior, Scout, and Bruiser). It is currently possible to earn Class Tokens through the following methods:
- Rejecting Survivors: When you make a radio call, you earn Class Tokens when rejecting normal survivors.
- Challenge: Upon reaching certain challenge rewards, you can earn Class Tokens.
- Distance: It is possible to obtain Class Tokens by achieving missions in Distance mode.
- Trading: Both in the Black Market and in the Trade Goods shop, offers may appear that offer you Class Tokens.

Hero Tokens[]

- Radio Calls: Hero Tokens are obtained from calls. There will usually be several calls offering chances for a particular hero, and there will regularly be special calls guaranteeing hero tokens from a set pool of heroes.
- Challenge: Upon reaching certain challenge rewards, you can earn Hero Tokens.
- Distance: It is possible to obtain Hero Tokens by achieving missions in Distance mode.

- The Survival Pass will have 250 support tokens on the free path and 1000 tokens on the premium path.
Black Market Tokens[]
Black Market Tokens are used to trade in the Black Market. Currently, these tokens are only acquired as a reward when making trades that don't cost the same in the Black Market.
Badge Fragments and Components[]
Materials are used to create badges.
There are 5 categories of materials: Badge Fragments, Cloth, Chemicals, Edibles, and Metals. It is currently possible to collect them from crates in challenges, as a reward in Distance and Last Stand, and when opening crates after completing a mission.
