Survivalist Rick is a playable Hero Character in The Walking Dead: No Man's Land. Survivalist Rick is unlocked only through acquiring 500 of his specific Hero tokens. When unlocked, he starts at 4 stars.
He is of the Scout class and has the Hero Leader trait of Lead By Example. He also has Strong, Lucky, Power Strike and Ruthless.

Leader Trait — Lead By Example[]
Rick's Charge Attacks deal +{0}% total damage. When Rick uses a Charge Attack, a survivor gains a Charge Point. As a Leader, all team members gain these bonuses.

How to use Survivalist Rick[]
Survivalist Rick was at one time one of the best heroes in the game, but currently he is firmly placed on the bench. This is due to the scout class being less useful than earlier, and Connie taking over the role as the best Scout in the game. Also PGG and HDaryl have their own clear roles, while Survivalist Rick's role as a maximum damage dealer is much less useful than before, as new traits and heroes allow for good crowd control.
Rick's leader trait has two parts; firstly his charge attacks deal extra damage, and secondly when he makes a charge attack one of the other team mates will get one charge point.
The extra damage is nice but still not high enough to be able to kill high level walkers in one blow, and certainly not special walkers. There are also many ways for Heroes to get charged, so the single charge point from SRick is not very valuable, compared to Connie or Sasha, or the fact that all melee Heroes can get charged on their own with the Weakening trait.
As Rick's LT is firmly based around damage, he should obviously be rerolled and badged offensively. He starts off with very good traits, so it should be enough to reroll one trait for Weakening, which one really depends on personal preference. Put 3 Damage and 3 Critical Damage badges on him.
- Reroll Lucky if you don't use the Pouvoir Flag
- Reroll Power Strike if you find that you mosty move before attacking
- Reroll Strong in other cases
- Keep Ruthless in all cases
